This Sunday is Easter Sunday!

We will be worshiping this Easter Sunday at 11:00 a.m. as a united Amazing Grace congregation. We will be worshiping in both English and Spanish hearing the wonderful news that Christ is risen! This Sunday’s message is titled “Duh”, our way of saying that the news of the risen Lord speaks for itself and needs no embellishment. Following the bi-lingual service will be a giant Easter egg hunt in our picnic area out front. Please join us to revel in the good news that Jesus Christ is risen!

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

Tonight’s Maundy Thursday service begins at 6:30 p.m. with a simple dinner in the Fellowship Hall. We ask those attending to bring food to share such as soup, salad, or pasta. Please do not bring desserts! Following the meal we will commence the service in the Fellowship Hall, and then proceed upstairs to the sanctuary for the stripping of the altar.

Good Friday service begins at7:30 p.m. this Friday the 18^th. It will be a service of Tenebrae. The service will conclude with a dramatic reading of the Passion from the Gospel of John, as fourteen candles are extinguished gradually, darkening the sanctuary. The service will conclude with the singing of “Were You There When They Crucified my Lord” and a departure in silence.

Following the Easter Service we will hold an Easter egg hunt in the front yard of the Church for the children. Robin Clavijo is coordinating. Through the month of April, we will be collecting canned meats for the co-op, this includes tuna fish, canned chicken, SPAM, canned ham, etc.

Please bring in any used plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc. to be reused by the Co-op when distributing food to clients.

Please bring in any used egg cartons to be used to distribute eggs to clients.
