Come join us for worship this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in English or 1:00 p.m. in Spanish, as we continue our study of the Gospel of John. We will read of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well. There are many reasons for Jesus to NOT interact with the woman there. First, she is Samaritan; second she is a woman with whom he is not related; and third, she is of questionable reputation. But she is very much the type of person to whom Jesus reaches out. Jesus offers her “living water”, a gift of God’s grace that will wash over her and offer new life. Once again, this story reveals that Jesus leads with love and grace, not condemnation. The woman becomes a messenger, carrying the word about a messiah who visited her town. Come and drink from the living water this Sunday!
