Dear PCA Family and Friends,

As you all know, we have been monitoring the global outbreak of COVID-19 and planning for a variety of contingencies as the virus has spread. Our highest priority is to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every member of the Plymouth Christian community. We are following the advice of government authorities at the federal, state, and local levels as we seek guidance and contribute to the general welfare of our communities.

We want you to know that the PCA Administrative team, Calvary Baptist Church leadership, the PCA Health Task Force, and PCA faculty are actively meeting to determine our next steps as a school. As of today, March 12, we have news to announce regarding upcoming events in the next two days.

PCA's Got Talent
Following the guidelines from the state of Michigan to restrict the number of people gathered in groups, the MSVMA (Michigan State Vocal Music Association) and MSBOA (Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association) cancellation of upcoming festivals, and the advice of the Fine and Performing Arts team, PCA's Got Talent will be canceled tonight and rescheduled for a later date. All choral and band festivals in the state of Michigan are being canceled by their respective organizations.

Boys District Tournament
Following the guidelines from MHSAA (Michigan High School Athletic Association), the boys district game on Friday, March 13, at 7 pm will take place at PCA. However, the spectators will be limited to a maximum of 50 people per team, and that only includes parents, legal guardians, and essential administrators. Any other fans are not allowed to attend, but can stream online. The approved list of guests will be checked at the door, can enter the building 30 minutes prior to the game, and must exit immediately following the presentation of the awards. Social distancing will be recommended.

4th & 5th Grade Volleyball
The 4th & 5th-grade volleyball games for this evening, March 12, are canceled. Novi Christian was hosting these games, and they have canceled this event.

We ask that you pray for our school, our greater community, and our alumni whose final semester in college is being interrupted or cut short due to COVID-19. While we recognize the disruption and impact that rescheduling or canceling events will have on all of us, we sincerely appreciate your cooperation as we band together in the face of what has become a global health issue.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me." John 14:1

In Him,
Caryn Huntsman
