Annual update from Bobby

"The more we give, the more inspired we are to give again—it’s a cycle of generosity that fuels itself." – Bobby Hambrick, THF Founder.

As we reflect on 2024, we're overwhelmed with gratitude when we think about the impact we've made together. In just two years, we've awarded grants across 17 states, reaching tens of thousands of individuals in the special needs community. Last year brought so many opportunities to give, as well as moments of growth and planning.

Looking ahead, we're excited for the opportunity to provide even greater impact in 2025 promises. It's all possible because of the support we receive from people like you. Thank you for being a part of our story.

Spotlight on recent grant recipients

This fall, we proudly awarded grants to 33 deserving recipients. Here are a few inspiring examples of the difference your support makes:

  • Zoe Vasbinder, Excellerated Teaching Academy, St. Petersburg, Florida (pictured above): Funds from this grant will be used to upgrade the school's sensory room, providing items like light panels, tactile surfaces and calming auditory devices.
  • Kelly Hobson, Jefferson Elementary School, Morton, IL: Funds are being used to support students’ emotional growth, fostering a healthier learning environment.
  • Allison Borland, SEAPCO RISE Program, Bartonville, Illinois: The grant enabled the purchase of a Cricut Maker for SEAPCO RISE, a transitional program that empowers students through collaborative efforts with families, schools, and service providers.

These are just a few of the incredible stories from our recipients.
