THIS JUST IN! The Venice Division of Historical Resources’ 2023/2024 Seasonal Photo Exhibit, Woody Thayer: Venice’s Eyes and Ears of the 1950s, will open Monday, Feb. 6, 2023, at the Venice Museum. The photo exhibit will feature the work of one of Venice’s most well-known former news writers, radio personalities, and photographers, the legendary Woody Thayer. The Venice Museum is located inside the historic Triangle Inn, listed in the Local Register of Historic Resources and on the National Registers of Historic Places. The museum is on the island of Venice near the William H. Jervey Jr. Venice Library and across from West Blalock Park.
