TreeQuest 2021
starts on Jan. 15
Residents will have two weeks within which to visit one of two participating locations, find the tagged trees, and submit clue answers online. Prizes include tree ID field guides and State park passes.
Residents can also send “selfies” they’ve taken with the trees they’ve discovered, and email them to sarasota@ifas.ufl.edu. UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County will share the photos on its Facebook page (@ufsarasotaext) to help spread the word about Florida Arbor Day and the benefits of community trees.
To participate in TreeQuest, visit one of the locations below, on or after Jan.15, and submit clue answers using the clue submission link. Note: the clue submission link will be activated on Florida Arbor Day, Jan. 15, 2021, will remain active for 2 weeks, and will be deactivated on Jan. 29, 2021.

The City of Venice is proud to announce that Venice Beach now has an ADA mobility mat that provides access for citizens in wheelchairs and scooters at the beach. The mat is constructed with a 6-foot wide by 76-foot long section of AccessMat® followed by a 10-foot by 12-foot AccessDeck® platform.
