Book Recommendations!

See what books we've been enjoying recently and email in your own recommendations to be featured in future newsletters.

Bloody Jack by L. A. Meyer

This series is criminally underrated! It follows Mary "Jacky" Faber as she disguises herself as a ship's boy in the British Navy. Naval hijinks ensue as she tries to keep her cover and survive the high seas. The cast of characters only gets better as the books go on. If you're looking for adventure, pirates, historical fiction, or a generally swashbuckling tale, look no further.

Betting on You by Lynn Painter

If you're looking for a light read to keep you cozy as you sip hot chocolate, look no further. This book is everything that people have come to expect from Lynn Painter: witty banter, a sweet story, and characters you can't help but root for.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I cannot recommend this book enough. The show did not do these complicated characters justice. If you like books involving heists and intrigue, intricate world building and magic systems, or books told in multiple point of views each better than the last, this is the book for you. The only bad thing about this book is figuring out what else can live up to it after you finish.

Do you know about our Library of Many Things?

The library has a special collection of objects that go out the same way books do. We have both a Nintendo Switch AND a Nintendo Switch LITE, a telescope, metal detector, ukulele, along with board games, puzzles, and more!

Come check it out! We're getting more things all the time so you never know when there will be something new.
