Beware of anyone who contacts you about your new Medicare card. Medicare.govwill never call and ask you to give them personal or private information to get your new Medicare number and card.
Some consumers have paid up to $30 over the cash price for medication with Medicare drug coverage. Pharmacists have been ordered not to advise consumers, however,
you can ask your pharmacist about the price comparison. It is a hassle to keep up with "little-known Medicare rules" but this one is worth passing on to a friend.
