CHIRP Hospitality Industry Grant Application

The CHIRP Grant program is specifically geared towards helping those in the hospitality industry. Eligible businesses operate within Mercer County, Pennsylvania and have fewer than 300 full-time employees. Entities must fall in the Accommodations subsector, or the Food Services and Drinking Places subsector. (Includes Hotels/Motels/Inns, Restaurants, Bars, Taverns, Breweries, and Wineries.) Under this program, restaurants, bars, and accommodations in the hospitality industry that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for grants up to $50,000. Grant funds are intended to alleviate revenue losses and pay eligible operating expenses due to the pandemic. This program will make available grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to eligible business.

Small Business Grant Assistance available
through Penn-Northwest Development Corp

Funds provided by DCED through the CARES Act are available for small business grants and can be applied for via Penn-Northwest Development Corp. The one time grants can be applied for through March 26 and are up to $10,000. They must be used to prevent job loss due to COVID-19 restrictions or for job creation or retention among other guidelines. Get more details here!
