Council Room Session: February 27 at 3 PM Eastern
Unpaid rework refers to activities in the field (including prefabrication) that have to be done more than once, or activities that remove work previously installed as part of the project, where no change order has been issued, and no change of scope has been identified by the Owner. Rework isn’t just a financial burden; its hidden costs run deeper - eroding culture, team morale, and client trust. Rework is abnormal work. Ignoring it won’t make it disappear, but addressing it head-on empowers you to solve it.
Join us for this Council Session to explore ELECTRI's project on "Understanding, Identifying, and Measuring Rework." This session will help you:
- Understand rework culture.
- Identify and address the root causes of rework.
- Turn mistakes into learning opportunities.
- Strategically reduce rework.
Simply put - get a GRIP on rework!
A calendar invitation will be sent soon to hold the date.

Help ELECTRI build a contract database!
After a recent Council Room session, members of the ELECTRI Council suggested building a contract database so contractors can view contract clauses from other areas. All pricing, numbers, and competitive information will be redacted from each contract. The purpose is to see the contract language that is being used by different contractors across North America. This database will live on a hidden webpage on ELECTRI’s website, available only through a direct link sent to the Council. To contribute, please send your redacted contracts to Laura.Holmes@electri.org
