FY22 Final Budget Proposal
Construction Corner
Lawrence & Warren Intersection
The project is complete except for some final striping and a little bit of sidewalk. The intersection was opened to traffic for the first day of school. Sod will be installed this week and the fencing will be installed when the materials are available.
Rodney Street
The northern half of phase I is nearly complete and utility crews continue to work just north of Broadway Street finishing up sewer, water and sidewalks. Crews will install a short segment of sewer south of Broadway this week. Utility work should be finished up by the end of next week and streetscape replacement will begin after.
Water Main Replacement
Construction is nearly complete on Lyndale and Park Avenues following water main replacement. The project is only waiting for final pavement striping.
 
Bid to replace water mains for N. Sanders and S. Dakota streets has been awarded by the City Commission. Work is scheduled to start in spring 2022.
Westside Annexation
Final street paving is wrapping up for Phase II of the Westside Annexation Project. Phase I is complete except for final punch list.

City Election Details
The City of Helena's General Election will take place November 2, 2021.
Residents will vote for their Mayor, two Commissioners, and Helena Citizen's Council representatives.
Who Can Vote
Helena residents must be registered to vote to cast a ballot. The deadline to submit a registration application by mail, fax, or email is October 4. Late registration can be done at the County elections office until noon on November 1.
How to Vote
The election will be conducted by mail, with in-person voting at the County elections office. Ballots will be mailed to active registered voters in mid-October. If you do not receive a ballot, contact the elections office.
When to Vote
All ballots must be received (not postmarked) by 8 p.m. on November 2.If you haven't mailed your ballot back by October 26, you are encouraged to drop off your ballot at the County elections office during business hours.
