Palm Beach County enacted Emergency Order # 13, mandating that all beaches close for the July 4
th
Weekend (from 12:01 A.M. on Friday, July 3
rd
until 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 5
th
). The County’s closure applies to public and private beaches.
In compliance with the County’s Emergency Order, the entrance to the beach boardwalk will be closed and a notice of the County Order posted. The PBSO will make additional patrols of the beaches during the timeframe covered by the County’s order. The Beach Parking Lot will remain open and lifeguards will be on duty and provide friendly reminders about the Order during their regularly scheduled hours.
