Responsibilities:

- Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product / trends

Qualifications:
- 0-3 year of retail experience
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience

- Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays

U21 Information Sessions
CAREERS is excited to offer our internship program for youth who are under the age of 21. To qualify for an internship, you must attend one virtual information session presented by CAREERS.
During the presentation you will learn more about the program, discover the various internship opportunities available, and get started on an application. The session will be approximately 45 minutes with time at the end for questions.

Family Days at the Depot!
Sundays are Family Day at Santa's Depot! Family Days are open to ages 6-15, each child must bring an adult helper (18 or older) who will stay with them through the entire shift.
Volunteers may be involved in any of the following activities: preparing gifts for individual children, bagging gifts for specific families, sorting toy donations, condensing sorted toy bins, and putting batteries in toys.
When: November 30, December 7 and December 14, 2025 from 9:15am to 11:15am or 11:45am to 1:45pm

We take great pride in the dedication of our volunteers. Each year, more than 250 volunteers generously contribute over 8000 hours to ABC Head Start Society. In addition, our staff and Board members dedicate countless hours of their own time, making an immeasurable impact on our community.

Kin Canada $1000 Bursaries: Apply Through Application Form!
Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are open October 1, 2025 until February 1, 2026.
Eligibility
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be a full-time student in the process of graduating from high school or currently studying or registered at a post-secondary institution.
- Must complete the current application form by February 1. Bursary winners are notified before June 30 by their sponsoring club.
- Must not have previously been awarded a Kin Canada Bursary.
- Will be evaluated on their community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need.

Energy Rates $500 Essay Scholarship
You can talk about anything you want—green energy, oil politics, the continued use of nuclear power, your personal ideas and innovations—so long as it’s about energy in the world of tomorrow. What do you think people will be reading about in the news in a few years?

The deadline for entry submission is January 31, 2026.
- Essays must be submitted in one of the following document formats: Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX), Rich Text File (RTF), or Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
- Please use a standard, easily read font, such as Times New Roman, Arial, Calibri, etc.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an American or Canadian post-secondary educational institution, or planning to enroll in such an institution within the following calendar year.

Dalton Camp Award $10,000 Essay Scholarship
The Dalton Camp Award is a $10,000 prize for the best essay on the link between media and democracy, presented annually by Friends of Canadian Media. We launched the award in 2002 to honour the memory of Dalton Camp, a distinguished commentator on Canadian public affairs.
Deadline to enter is January 5 2026.
Eligible essays written in English up to 2,000 words in length are judged anonymously on both subject matter and strength of written expression. Both recently published and unpublished essays may be submitted.
Any Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, regardless of age, student or professional status may enter. We encourage and welcome applications from across genders, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, religions, and beliefs.

Strike Group EDI Scholarships
Each of the five scholarship categories is eligible for $2,000 to help offset student tuition.

The website lists all relevant scholarships and bursaries free of charge. They try to update each listing annually and students are matched to scholarships and bursaries when they create an account.
