An upcoming opportunity for a mentoring session with Coke Canada Bottling is happening next week.

This is an incredible opportunity to share a conversation, ask questions and seek advice from Coke Canada professionals, practice professional communication skills, increase awareness and access to job opportunities, as well as build confidence for future success.

Each youth in attendance will also be entered into a draw for a chance to win a Coke Canada prize pack! Also, our agency BGCBigs will enter all youth who participate in a draw for a gift card of your choice! Once you register, please let us know.

Get help with your resume, prepare for an interview, and find the right job for you. 
Action For Healthy Communities is seeking volunteers with a passion for youth education, academic support, and tutoring to assist in providing mentorship and academic support online.

Your role will entail assisting program staff to administer virtual after-school academic support for children/youth in grades 1-12.

Requirements:
  • Thursdays or Fridays from 3:30-6:30 pm
  • Locations: Castle Downs or Clareview Public Library
  • A minimum 3-month commitment
  • Your choice of grade level and subjects
  • A background in teaching/education and experience working with immigrant youth is an asset
  • Staff willcoordinate the learning room for each session

All volunteers will be required to complete an online application form and undergo a police information/vulnerable sector check.

Additional support including training and materials will be provided.
