Rogers connects youth to opportunities and helps to remove barriers to accessing education through Ted Rogers Scholarships.
Since launching Ted Rogers Scholarships in 2017, Rogers has supported more than 3,000 Canadian youth pursuing post-secondary studies.
The Ted Rogers Entrance Scholarship is aimed at students entering school, full-time to pursue a first bachelor’s degree or first diploma program or first trades program at a Canadian university, college or trades school to help close the gap between tuition and additional fees (i.e. books).
🎓 Eligibility Requirements:
- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident, age 25 or younger;
- Be planning to enter the first year into full-time studies in a first bachelor’s degree or first diploma program or first trades program at a Canadian university, college or trades school in the 2024-2025 academic year;
- Have a minimum cumulative average of 70% (or equivalent) over the last three terms of available marks*. Non- academic courses such as career or personal development-related courses will not be considered.
- Preference may be given to students from equity-deserving groups (Black, Indigenous Peoples, People of Colour, Persons with Disabilities, Women, 2SLGBTQ+).

The aim of Valour Canada’s History and Heritage Scholarship is to support Canadian students in their educational pursuits in an engaging, thought-provoking, and memorable manner. The student who creates the best video response to the question provided below will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship to be put towards their post-secondary education. The runner-up will receive a $500 scholarship.
🎓 How to Enter:
- A one or two paragraph introductory document that explains why you chose to apply for Valour Canada’s History and Heritage Scholarship (.doc or .pdf format please). This will not be evaluated.
- A YouTube-compatible video between four and six minutes long that educates viewers about your chosen memorial, monument, or place (see the question below).
- Your video should open with a still screen title page that includes: the video title, your name, your town/city, and your school.
- Your video should close with a still screen showing your references (as per Chicago-style formatting requirements).
Note: Regarding the video submission, applicants can provide a link to a Dropbox folder, Google Drive, or similar, that holds the finished video file. MAKE SURE TO SAVE YOUR VIDEO AT A HIGH RESOLUTION, but please smaller than 1 GB.

The Villa Charities Scholarship Program provides financial support to Undergraduate and Graduate level students who believe in and help further Villa Charities’ mission to enrich lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage. Any person, regardless of heritage, that helps further this mission is encouraged to apply.
🎓Eligibility
- Registered in an Undergraduate program and must be entering the second, third, or fourth year of the program.
- Have a GPA of 3.5+. See Terms and Conditions for additional requirements.
- Students must be Canadian citizens or have permanent-residence status.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities through various means such as volunteer community service.
- Exhibits passion in their field of study. Preference given to students who demonstrate special interest in Italian heritage and culture as part of their program of study, such as through a co-op, internship, and/or an applied research project.

ScholarshipsCanada.com is part of the SchoolFinder Group. The site has been helping students find scholarships since 1997. Their mission is to help students realize their dreams by making it possible for students to attend the school of their choice without being limited by the cost.
The website lists all relevant scholarships and bursaries free of charge. They try to update each listing annually and students are matched to scholarships and bursaries when they create an account.

Students in foundational learning or skills development programs may qualify for funding to cover education and living costs.
Foundational Learning Assistance helps you:
- Improve English language skills
- Complete academic upgrading for a high school diploma or post-secondary prerequisites
- Gain in-demand skills for employment
This monthly financial award is based on household financial need and covers:
- Educational costs: tuition, mandatory fees, student association fees, and books and supplies
- Living costs: food, clothing, personal needs, transportation, rent/mortgage, and utilities
Eligibility:
- Enrolled in an approved program for Foundational Learning Assistance
- 18 years of age or 16-17 under certain circumstances (see policy manual)
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected person legally entitled to work and study in Canada
- Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
Residency:
- Established Alberta address
- In Alberta at the time of acceptance into the program
- Border community residents are considered residents of their home postal code province/territory
Employment Status:
- Unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week
Over 40 educational providers in Alberta offer approved programs, including public post-secondary institutions, private career colleges, First Nations colleges, and non-profit organizations. Contact institutions directly to check program approval for Foundational Learning Assistance.
