We are hosting an in-person session on Tuesday March 25th from 1:30pm - 4:30pm, the first hour will be hosted by the Students Commission of Canada to gain feedback through their State of Youth Report survey ($25 honorarium provided to those who complete it and opportunities to be invited to future Student Commission conferences!) and the remainder of the session will help you prepare for the Summer Job Interviews!

The Camp STEAM mission is to inspire Canadian youth through participating in hands-on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). Our philosophy is that children learn while they have fun and if they have fun while learning we have a chance to bridge the gap between students and the real world. Through summer camp educational experiences, we prepare them for a world where most of the employment will be in STEAM-related career opportunities.

Join us for a rewarding summer where you can make a positive impact on children's lives!
As a Summer Recreation Program leader, you will be responsible for creating recreation and play opportunities for children in Edmonton. You will succeed in the role if you can perform all tasks in a respectful, inclusive and service-minded way. Join our team and change lives one game of tag at a time!
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent or higher
- Experience working with the general public, tour groups, children, youth and adults in a drop-in and registered environment
Positions will begin June 23 to August 22, 2025 and training will occur between June 23-27, 2025.
Hours of Work: Up to 39 hours per week.
Salary: $19.219 - $23.787 (Hourly)

Our FREE Youth Talk Workplace Communication 24-session online program is designed for newcomer youth aged 15-24. Come on out to enhance your workplace communication skills, boost your confidence, and foster professionalism. You will gain practical tools and strategies to navigate workplace interactions effectively.

Assumption Life Bursaries: open from Jan 1 – March 31
Bursaries of $1,500 (8 awarded throughout Canada)
To qualify for this bursary, a student must be Canadian, enrolled full time at a post-secondary learning establishment (cegep, college, university) as of next fall, have an academic average of at least 70%, and require financial aid to continue his/her studies.
