October 8th, Eastglen Students Apply to Old Navy Workshop!
Eastglen High School Students can attend this workshop to review Old Navy's This Way ONWard program and go through the application process! Come prepared with your resume to make the most of this session.
This course provides pre-employment support for first-time job seekers and helpful advice for folks early into their careers.
No pre-registration required, come by the OST Room for more details!

CAREERS will match you with an employer for a student internship, which is basically a short-term job that gives you hands-on experience.

U21 Information Sessions
CAREERS is excited to offer our internship program for youth who are under the age of 21. To qualify for an internship, you must attend one virtual information session presented by CAREERS.
During the presentation you will learn more about the program, discover the various internship opportunities available, and get started on an application. The session will be approximately 45 minutes with time at the end for questions.

TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples
Regardless of your field of study, scholarships are open to First Nation, Metis and Inuit who are members / citizen of a First Nation, Metis or Inuit community who:
● have applied for a full-time minimum 2-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study; or
● are enrolled in, or accepted to, a full-time minimum two-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study
Employees of TD and its subsidiaries and their children are not eligible for these scholarships.

Alberta's government offers scholarships and awards to encourage and reward the excellence of Albertans in post-secondary study.
Scholarship areas include Academics, Athletics, Citizenship/Leadership, Indigenous, Language, and Technology.

The website lists all relevant scholarships and bursaries free of charge. They try to update each listing annually and students are matched to scholarships and bursaries when they create an account.
