September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

September is a month used to raise awareness about suicide and to share vital information ensuring that individuals, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help. Suicidal thoughts, although common, should not be considered normal and often indicate more serious issues. According to the CDC, suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States, and responsible for 45,979 deaths in 2020--that's 1 death every 11 minutes. Help is available!

Welcome, Eric Copes! Please welcome our newest ReStore employee Eric Copes! Eric has been hired on as a full-time driver. You can find him out on the truck picking up donations or helping in the warehouse/on the showroom floor.   Introducing our newest partnership, ReEmployAbility The ReStore is excited to be partnering with the company ReEmployAbility! ReEmployAbility helps injured or disabled employees get back to meaningful work with nonprofit organizations while they recover. The ReStore is happy to have our first employee through ReEmployAbility, Trakena, who is helping to answer phones & provide customer support.
