What Will The New Year Bring for HFHNCC?
We hope you had a wonderful holiday and a welcome start to the new year. We are excited to see how 2022 can top all the wonderful ways you helped provide for Habitat homeowners in 2021.

Watch for more on the following signature Habitat events:
  • Rock the Block - Northeast Wilmington in partnership with Republic Services
  • Rock the Block - Eastside Wilmington
  • A special thank you event for our volunteers and major individual donors.
  • Habitat's 36th Annual Breakfast on June 2, 2022
  • Annual Golf Outing on September 15, 2022
  • And of course, welcoming more Habitat homeowners into their new forever home.

looking forward to the future
Our homeowners receive a hand up rather than a hand out when getting accepted into the Habitat Homeownership Program. Between their normal schedules with work and family, they complete over 200 sweat equity hours and attend financial literacy courses. See what they have to say as they look toward their bright futures.
new marketing & communications manager!
The Development team and the rest of the HFHNCC staff are excited to welcome our new Marketing and Communications Manager, Abigail Ariza, to the team.
ReStore update
December saw donations at the ReStore coming in full blast! We had so many wonderful residential donations, and large corporate donations as well.

Special thanks to Nemours, WSFS, Delmarva Power, DaSTOR, HomeStar Remodeling.

We also received additional items through residential pickups from some of our regular donors like Stonegates Retirement Community, Cokesbury Village, Ferris Home Improvements, and Ferguson Bath Kitchen & Lighting.
volunteer shoutout

We recently welcomed Habitat's newest group of volunteers - a crew of 5 Salesianum High School students. They put in a lots of hours, tons of work & really helped out with staffing and cleaning up the ReStore!
new pricing!

Our pricing system has been updated which means better deals on the items you want.

Every 2 weeks that an item remains on the floor, the price is dropped. Take your chance on coming back for an item when the price is cheaper, but remember, things don’t often stick around very long at the ReStore!
To donate your building materials, furniture, and household items to our ReStores, contact us at restoredonations@habitatncc.org or call 302.652.5181. We accept drop off donations Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm.
