2025 Call to Service Grants Applications Open Now!

ICCE is now accepting applications for the 2025 Call to Service Grants. These grants offer SF State faculty and staff the opportunity to receive funding for community-engaged activities, research and community service learning course development.

Unlock new possibilities for your community work and collaborate on projects that create lasting change.
Explore funding opportunities that support innovative and meaningful engagement with community partners.

The application deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 19.

2025 Call to Service Grants

Did you attribute your Fall 2024 CSL course? If you haven't, please email Edel Vaovasa at evaovasa1@sfsu.edu. This step is crucial for faculty to log CSL hours at the end of the semester when grades are due.

Calling Gator student artists:

We're looking for talented students to design SF State's official “I Voted” sticker for the upcoming General Election! Whether you're a graphic designer, an artist, or simply filled with Gator pride, this is your chance to shine! This contest is open exclusively to SF State students.

Winner will receive $50 in Gator Dollars to use around shops on campus AND free merchandise with their design!

Campus-Wide Voting will take place: October 15th - 23rd
Final Winner notified & announced: October 25, 2024

The 2024 General Election is on Tuesday, November 5, 2024!

We want to make sure our campus communities are registered in time to show out and vote! For detailed information about voter engagement, finding opportunities across campus, and the SF State Voting Center, please visit: https://icce.sfsu.edu/gator-votes

Monday, October 7: No later than this date, county elections officials shall begin mailing each registered voter a vote-by-mail ballot.
Tuesday, October 15: Join us for our Gators Votes: Bats, Brews, & Ballots Event, a Halloween celebration dedicated to encouraging students to register to vote in time for the General Elections! Stop by the Malcolm X Plaza on 10/15 for FREE voting-themed games, crafts, and snacks! More info: https://icce.sfsu.edu/event/bats-brews-and-ballots
Monday, October 21: Last day to register to vote online or by mail ahead of the General Election.
Tuesday, October 22 – Tuesday, November 5: Same Day Voter Registration is available - voters can “conditionally” register and vote at a county elections office or polling location after the voter registration deadline, up to and including Election Day.
Tuesday, October 29: Last day for county elections officials to send a registered voter a vote-by-mail ballot.
Tuesday, November 5: General Election - polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
