Building Optimism
Everyone in the education industry is coming off of a couple of really hard years (yes, plural). But in spite of that everyone can - and must - be a school leader. We often need to hear other voices (and sometimes our own) coaching us through tough times.
Take some advice from a school superintendent who has been there. His bottom line? Struggling is okay. Are you thriving? Good for you, keep it up. The only thing not acceptable is resigning yourself to staying in a bad place thinking that there is no way forward.
