It never hurts to be reminded of the basic facts of childhood trauma and the importance of trauma-informed, trauma-sensitive communities and schools. The National Child Traumatic Stress Network has a number of resources to provide school administrators, teachers, staff, and concerned parents with basic information about working with traumatized children in the school system.
