Quarterly Partner Meeting

Please join us at the next HIPMC Quarterly Partner Meeting. There will be a presentation of the county health disparities grant recipients, an introduction to the new Community Advisory Boards, and breakout rooms for partners to network and connect.

Community Groups Awarded Funds from Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to Address Health Disparities

MCDPH recently announced the recipients of nearly $6 million worth of funding to support community groups in addressing health disparities worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eighteen community groups serving populations facing health disparities were selected based on proposals that stated how their projects would address health disparities. These projects focus on specific audiences, including children, adolescents, and caregivers, while others will address socioeconomic needs that impact health, including healthy food, transportation, and education.

Voices of Maricopa County COVID-19 Dashboard

MCDPH is launching a new dashboard highlighting COVID-19 stories from the community. This interactive tool features data from 14,380 survey responses collected from the 2021 COVID-19 Impact Survey!

Adult Immunization Clinic

MCDPH has opened a new immunization clinic in Phoenix to serve the adult community. Based on availability, vaccines will be offered to the insured, underinsured, and uninsured at no out-of-pocket cost. To schedule an appointment, call 602-506-6767.
