November is off to a great start, and we are looking forward to the holiday festivities ahead!
Buellton Fall Fest (This Weekend, Fri–Sun)
Join us on the Avenue for a fun weekend for the whole family featuring two music stages, food trucks, vendors, and three beer tents.
- Ride Tickets: The Chamber is selling presale tickets until noon on Friday for $38, which includes unlimited rides for one day of your choice.
- Support Senior Scholarships: Chamber staff will be bartending at two of the beer tents. Stop by to show your support—all tips raised will go directly toward our Senior Scholarship program.
Valley-Wide Mixer & Social (November 12, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Hosted at the SYV Marriott on the patio off the main lobby, this event features live music, light bites, drinks, and the presentation of all the Scarecrow Contest winners, including the Harvest Cup Winner.
Winter Fest & Holiday Lights (Sunday, December 6, 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Save the date for Winter Fest! Enjoy 20 tons of snow, the Christmas Tree lighting, photos with Santa, local vendors, food trucks, and a drone show sponsored by the City. The Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden's Holiday Lights Festival will also be open. Please note that while Winter Fest activities are free, entry to the Botanic Garden requires a ticket.

We have an active membership and we look forward to having you join us. Membership for a business is $200 annually and $75 for a non-profit or individual.

Introducing Quarterly Mixers
We have changed our format to doing mixers on a quarterly basis. As we wind down this year, we will have one more mixer on November 12th, which is a joint mixer with our neighboring Chambers of Commerce. See below for details.
We will be looking for hosts for next year's mixers, so please let us know if you are interested in hosting. Our mixers provide a great way for our members to network and for you as a business to showcase your business and what you do. We are here to help you, so please let us know if you have any questions or are interested in hosting.

Rotary Club of Buellton- Breakfast Club
The club meets at the SYV Marriott. Join them at 8:30am the first and third Thursday of the month. Rotary provides a great way to get involved in your community, make friends and build business relationships along the way. Did you know that the Buellton Rotary donates back to our local non-profits, sends kids to RYLA, provides scholarships to graduating seniors and much more. Check it out!

SYV Community Outreach continues to stay busy. Delivering meals to our seniors and those in need, running the thrifts shops, catering, and helping in ways only they know how. We are very fortunate to have them in our community and provide the services they do.
They also operate Route 246 Cafe, which serves lunch daily M-F. This is located in their space behind the Post Office. Be sure to check out their calendar for menu options. It's $10/per person, such a deal.

Stormwater Tip of the Month:
Colorful falling leaves can be a beautiful sight to see, but those leaves can clog storm drains and pipes and cause flooding when it rains. Be sure to avoid blowing leaves into the street. Instead, rake or sweep them up. Leaves can be disposed of in green waste bins, composted, or used as mulch in the garden.Visit your City’s Stormwater Management webpage (Buellton or Solvang) to see what days your streets are swept and to learn more about stormwater pollution prevention.
Water Conservation Tip of the Month:
Direct rainwater runoff from rooftops and paved surfaces to landscaped areas to reduce irrigation needs.Consider installing rain barrels to collect and reuse rainwater. For more ideas, visit your City’s Water Conservation webpage (Buellton or Solvang) or the County of Santa Barbara’s Water Wise website.
