May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a month dedicated to education about the one in five children in our communities who struggle with mental health and learning disorders, and the one in five adults who struggle with mental health issues.
This month, Project EVERS will share materials for educators and parents alike that can help us make a difference in all children’s lives. Check the Project EVERS website frequently for resources that we can all use to cope with stress, isolation, and mental health challenges.
This week we focus on Self-Care for Parents, a resource from the Child Mind Institute through their Getting Better Together (GBT) campaign. The tips are very good for anyone with children in their lives! Please click here for a few reminders about how to give our best to them always.
