Funding Available for Indigenous Youth Initiatives

It’s the final week to apply for the Indigenous Community Support Development Grant Program! This funding supports opportunities for Indigenous youth to participate, grow, and lead in sport, culture, and recreation. Learn Practical Tools for Healthy Conflict Resolution

Conflict happens, but it doesn’t have to derail your team or community! Join our FREE interactive Beyond the Basics session on November 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. via Zoom to learn practical tools for understanding, preventing, and managing conflict. We’ll cover codes of conduct, conflict resolution plans, respectful policies, grievance processes, and more. Bring your experiences, examples, and questions! Icebreaker Rink Chat: Share, Learn, and Connect

Join us for Icebreaker Rink Chat on November 6, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. via Zoom, a casual networking opportunity for curling and skating rink operators, volunteers, board members, and recreation directors across Saskatchewan. Share challenges, solutions, and stories about rink operations, and hear from special guest Doug Wiseman on liability insights for volunteer operators. Pre-register by November 4 to receive your access code at parklandvalley.ca. Have topics you’d like covered? Include them in your registration form! Questions? Annual Member Registration Now Open!

It’s time for Parkland Valley District’s Annual Member Registration!

Membership runs from November 1 to October 31, and we ask all members to complete a short registration and survey each year.



Submit both forms by January 30, 2026, to be eligible to win $250 for your community or organization toward sport, culture, and recreation programming!


Being a member helps us stay connected with your community and ensures you continue receiving updates, funding opportunities, and program support.
