Parkland Valley Sport, Culture and Recreation District is looking for individuals who are interested in joining our Board of Directors. The Board meets six times per year, offering a meaningful way to contribute to your community while gaining experience in policy governance.


No prior board experience is necessary, just a passion for supporting sport, culture, and recreation throughout the district.

Upcoming Webinar - Turning Your Community Into A Summer Play Program!

Parkland Valley Sport, Culture and Recreation District is hosting an interactive webinar exploring how everyday community spaces from fire halls to local businesses can be transformed into engaging, hands-on experiences for kids.


Join us on May 6 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. to discover practical, low-cost ways to create meaningful summer play programs right in your own community.

 Summer Play Program Grant – Opening May 1!

Planning a free summer play program in your community? The Summer Play Program Grant is here to help make it happen! With up to $500 available, this funding can support supplies, equipment, and instructor costs to bring fun, active programming for kids all summer long.


The grant is open to communities, libraries, recreation boards, and museums, please note, applications don’t open until May 1, so mark your calendar! The deadline to apply is May 15.
