Adult Discussion Series Continues!   Join us for the second in a 3-part February Adult Discussion series this Sunday, February 23rd. The topic is “Social Injustice” – Micah 6: 8 says “He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” This week's topic is exploring justice in a social context: What is just or unjust? Where do we see injustice in society? Economic, environmental, racial, gender, other kinds?

The discussion will take place between 9:15 and 10:15 in the upstairs lounge. Get your cup of coffee and join us!

The first of six Stations of the Cross services is scheduled for Friday, February 28th at 6:00 PM. This special Lenten service begins with an opening devotion & the Lord’s Prayer. It proceeds through each of the stations using a pattern of versicle, response, reading, prayer & collect. Hymns may also be sung or said. The service concludes with prayer(s). Its theme makes it particularly appropriate for use in Lent. This year we will offer Stations of the Cross on the 6 Fridays of Lent leading up to Good Friday. You are invited to join us, whether it’s for a single service or for all 6.  We will have a simple supper in the Parish Hall following the service. For more information, please contact Deacon Lisa Siciliano at  deaconlisa-somd@gmail.com  or Adriane Hope Sayles at  ahopesayles@aol.com .
