Tazz Lighting has teamed up with Seamus Garland for this intimate collection of 16 exclusive urban residences. These welcoming living spaces are all supported with hillside charm and are unique to the neighborhood.
Martin's enjoyment and many hours on this project were due, in most part, to his relationship with the Developer Seamus. Martin was given the task to transform a basic concept into a full lighting design for these 16 residences.
Tazz had the pleasure to be involved with this exciting customized condominium project from concept all the way through to completion.
The lighting design and supply of all interior/ exterior lighting, we specifically produced and sourced after many discussions and deliberation to meet our client needs, conception intent, and application. Martin’s vision was to complement and enhance the architectural details but stay practical which was of most importance.
The few decorative fixtures throughout the condo units add an additional layer of light that finishes off the elegant design but keeps it minimalistic.
For all of the units and communal areas, Tazz included a specially designed LUTRON lighting control system which allows the homeowners to have ultimate control over the layers of lighting giving them the ability to create warmth throughout the space, depending on the time of the day.
Some exclusive lighting features include exposed LED linear lighting, which allows minimal light output and maximum mood control, setting up the most surreal lighting environment that complements breathtaking sunsets of the Southern California Coast.
The outcome is a one-of-a-kind project in a stunning location nestled amongst Little Italy, Downtown, and Balboa.
