Columbus Day

October 12, 2026

The Parish office will be closed for the holiday.

Safe Church Training

To all parishioners required to complete Safe Church Training:

Please let the Parish Office know if you did not receive an email from the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia from Michael Scaglione regarding Safe Church Training.

Safe Church Training is required for all Vestry members, ministry leaders and volunteers, staff, and anyone working with children, including Sunday School volunteers and teachers.

If you have completed the eight online training modules, please forward your completion transcript to the Parish Office. The Diocese requires the parish to maintain records of completed training. You can find your transcript at the top right-hand side of the Praesidium website, near your account sign-in.

If you have questions or concerns about the training, please contact the Parish Office. Lisa Miller is also available to assist with the online courses.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our Trinity community.

Stewardship 2026–2027

Plenty Good Room

Beginning this October, we will begin our new stewardship journey, “Plenty Good Room.”

Stewardship is about more than giving—it’s about sharing our time, talents, resources, and love as we grow God’s ministry and serve our neighbors.

Join us after the 10:00 a.m. services for an extra-special Coffee Hour with information, fun, and games!

More will be coming throughout the month, so watch for it! There’s Plenty Good Room in God’s House. Pull up a chair and join us!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Volunteers Needed

Would you like to help make our Christmas services special?

We are looking for volunteers to serve and/or read at one of our Christmas services:

• Christmas Eve – 5:30 p.m.
• Christmas Eve – 10:30 p.m.
• Christmas Day – 10:00 a.m.

If you are available and interested in helping at any of these services, please contact the Parish Office.

Whether you have served before or would like to volunteer for the first time, we would love to have you join us!

More to Come: Children & Youth at Trinity

Exciting things are coming for

Trinity's children and youth!

Tiffany Arnett is leading the development of our new Godly Play program and children’s classroom, with a possible start date of October 11.

As plans come together, watch for more information and updates, and mark your calendars!

We are also beginning to gather the supplies and materials needed for our Sunday School and children’s classroom. If you would like to help, we have created an Amazon Wish List with items that will help us get the classroom ready for our children.

Help us build our Sunday School!

We are excited to see Trinity continue to grow as a place where children, youth, and families can learn, wonder, play, and grow together in faith.

PETERKIN CAMP

and

CONFERENCE CENTER

Peterkin offers a refuge of serenity amid the stress and hectic pace of our everyday lives, a place that encourages us to relax and recenter.

SAFE CHURCH TRAINING

We strongly encourage everyone to complete the Safe Church online training to stay up to date with our Safe Church responsibilities.

Questions or trouble accessing the training? Please contact the Trinity office.

As Christians, we are storytellers of God’s love. From Creation to Christ—and through us—this love is meant to be shared. Just as Mary and Mary Magdalene spread the Good News, we too are called to share it with joy.

Your gifts and pledges help continue this story—feeding the hungry, offering hope, and showing God’s love in action.

Pledge faithfully. Give generously. Share joyfully.

Have You Planned or Recently Updated for Your Final Celebration of Life?

Trinity can provide service funeral/memorial planning and purchasing Columbarium. Feel free to contact the office for more information.
