👟 Go Solo or Rally a Team!

Create a team with friends, family, or co-workers—or join as an individual. Every step, pose, or stride you take helps someone fighting breast cancer feel supported and seen.

Let’s come together to move, breathe, and give back. Join us in making this year’s event the most impactful yet!

Shop, Round Up, and Make a Difference This August!

Every time you make a purchase at Ace Hardware of Fremont (formerly Dale Hardware) this August, you’ll have the option to round up your total to the nearest dollar, and that spare change goes directly to HERS.

This partnership is more than just a fundraiser—it’s about strengthening the bonds between local businesses and the communities they serve. Surendra Reddy, General Manager of Ace Hardware of Fremont, shared:

Supporting local organizations such as HERS helps us reinforce our commitment to being ‘The Helpful Place’ not only inside our store helping customers with everyday needs, but helping build a better community for our customers. Partnering with local organizations helps us connect more with customers, brings awareness to great initiatives non-profits provide community members and hopefully encourages and inspires other businesses to take action.”

We couldn’t agree more! So if you’ve been meaning to stock up on tools, garden supplies, or any home project essentials, now’s the perfect time to visit Dale Hardware. With every purchase, you’ll be helping someone on their journey through breast cancer—just by saying “yes” to rounding up.

Let’s turn small change into big support.

Giving Back

At HERS, we understand the importance of giving back within our community as well. Earlier this month our Executive Director, Tina Fernandez, with HERS friend and donor Christine Friis (pictured here) volunteered at one of the wine booths at the 2025 Fremont Festival of the Arts.

This festival has helped raise over $11M for local non-profit organizations over the last 41 years. Congratulations to the Fremont Chamber of Commerce's hardworking team on yet another great event.

And last but not least...congratulations to retiring Chamber CEO Cindy Bonior! Her dedicated service to the Fremont community is truly exceptional.

Volunteer Opportunities

We love our volunteers! In order to make our September 27th Walk/Run/Yoga event a success, we rely heavily on our volunteers. There are multiple shifts available for event setup, registration, food prep/service, cheer stations, and more!

Sign up today and you'll be part of a great team of other community members giving back.

And if you're a high school student, you'll earn service hours! For more info, email info@hersbcf.org.
