February Tips
Valentine's Day may be over, but it's never too late to know how to best treat your network - whether that's your business partners, mentors, staff, or customers!
Take the official Love Language Test to learn how you best feel appreciated and valued...and don't forget to share it with your network to cater to their needs as well!
According to Harvard Business Review, resignations are at an all time high, and employers need to start making an action plan to fill vacancies.
A few suggestions they have:
- viewing employees as the key stakeholders in the organization
- moving away from standardization in performance management tools
- trusting employees to accomplish their performance goals the way they see fit
Take action now! Make sure your workplace is feeling valued, respected, and loved!
The 5 love languages are:
Words of affirmation: words of kindness and phrases of praise may lift someone's spirits
Physical touch: a warm hug or affirmative pat on the shoulder may be appreciated
Quality time: make sure those office meetings aren't all business, add a bit of joy and laughter into the time you spend together
Gifts: it doesn't have to be a holiday to spread the love, get some donuts or coffee mugs for your staff to show they're appreciated
Acts of service: help a team member with a project or event...or simply provide a few pieces of advice when needed
Make sure your whole team takes the Love Language Test, and start creating a workplace environment that allows for everyone to feel treasured!
