It's Almost Here.

In 2021 Dave released The Dave Bass Trio, Vol 1 featuring the music of Bud Powell, Paul Bley, Andrew Hill, and Thelonious Monk.

On Monday, April 25, 2022, SJC will have the pleasure of presenting the Dave Bass Trio in concert performing selections from his newest CD, The Dave Bass Trio, Vol. 2, scheduled for release in mid-June2022. With Kerry Kashiwagi on bass, and Scott Gordon on drums.

Phil Woods, NEA jazz master and four-time Granny winner said, “Dave is a sophisticated composer and pianist. His music is street music taken up to Fifth Avenue. It’s high art, but still has a street value.

As SJC makes preparation to close it's doors in June, this will be the last time the organization will be able to feature Dave, so please come on out. A few seats remain available. Let's do it up!
