ACL’s Commit to Connect Initiative Is Hosting Office Hours Focused On Intergenerational Engagement

Tuesday, January 30, 2024 | 11 am to 12 noon ET



Commit to Connect, a national initiative aimed at reducing social isolation and loneliness, is hosting an office hours call for professionals interested in improving social connection through intergenerational engagement programs and interventions.


Dr. Shannon Jarrott, a leading expert on intergenerational programming and social connection, will lead this informal call to collaborate, learn, and network with others.


This call will be an informal space to network, share experiences, and learn from others. Sample discussion topics will include intergenerational program partners, strategies to identify and reach possible participants, and more.


The call will include closed captioning and American Sign Language interpreting.
