Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, 2015

A rare opportunity to secure one of Italy's historic vintages

From the historic cellars of Bertani comes one of Italy’s most celebrated wines. The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico earned a perfect 100-point score from James Suckling and was named Wine of the Year by Corriere della Sera.

Bertani crafts this legendary Amarone in the limestone hills of Valpolicella Classica near Verona using the traditional appassimento method. The Corvina and Rondinella grapes were dried for months before fermentation, creating extraordinary depth and concentration.

In the glass, expect layers of plum, dark cherry, dried fig, licorice, leather, and dark chocolate wrapped in firm tannins and vibrant acidity. Aged for years in large Slavonian oak barrels and built to evolve gracefully through 2040, this is a collector-worthy bottle equally suited for a special dinner or long-term cellaring. Pair it with braised beef, venison, spice-rubbed pork, or aged cheeses for an unforgettable experience.

Purchase through us to receive exclusive preferred pricing on this iconic vintage while availability lasts.

**Minimum purchase of 3 bottles: $150 each. Your deposit reserves your desired number of bottles for later purchase.

This is a summer to remember. Join us this season for exclusive events throughout Fredericksburg.

While our full collection of experiences is still taking shape behind the scenes, we are delighted to offer a first glimpse of what awaits at the close of June. On June 28, 2026, we will return to Hoffman Haus for another installment of our signature wine dinner series. An evening thoughtfully composed around this month’s theme, revealed below.

The following day, June 29, we invite a small circle of trade/media to join us at Hilmy Cellars for a complimentary, limited-access experience designed to open the cellar door to the inner world of wine. Guests will enjoy an insider’s perspective on the wine trade while tasting freely from an expansive selection of wines, lingering over discoveries both rare and familiar.

No. 1

Celebrating the tradition of coming together—

Fredericksburg, although known for its German roots, still carries the quiet imprint of Alsace in its food, wine, architecture, and enduring Old World charm.

Long before Fredericksburg’s limestone hills echoed with German hymns and polkas, the Rhine had already begun sending pieces of itself westward across the Atlantic. Just two years before the Germans settled Fredericksburg, French Alsatian immigrants established nearby Castroville. They brought with them the vineyard traditions and layered cultural identity of Alsace, a region shaped by centuries between France and Germany.

In the Texas Hill Country, those neighboring communities gradually intertwined. What emerged was a heritage that was neither wholly German nor French, but distinctly Hill Country.

Join VinoCadre and Hoffman Haus for an evening celebrating that shared heritage through a multi-course Alsatian wine dinner held in the Grand Hall of Hoffman Haus. Set beneath the warm glow of one of Fredericksburg’s most intimate boutique hotels, the evening will feature thoughtfully paired wines from Alsace alongside a curated seasonal menu inspired by the region’s rich culinary traditions and the timeless elegance of the Rhine.

No. 2

We’re pleased to extend an invitation to a select group of industry professionals.

For one special afternoon, Hilmy Cellars will host an exclusive Trade + Media Tasting for guests of VinoCadre, featuring a guided tasting of newly released medal-winning wines alongside a curated selection of library vintages pulled from the cellar.

Connect with the team behind the wines and gain deeper insight into the bottles that have earned recognition across Texas wine country and beyond. This complimentary industry event is offered by reservation only, with attendance intentionally limited. Please contact Andre Boada for additional details or to RSVP.
