A sign of Christ’s love for the world, starting right here in our local community and then reaching beyond.
Make plans to join us this Sunday morning at 9 am for our live-streamed service in the Sanctuary. Seating will be allowed on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be done by the ushers to maintain social distancing. Masks must be worn the entire time and all safety precautions will be taken. UNLESS YOU NEED THE ELEVATOR we request that everyone use the main entrance to the sanctuary on East Blvd.
Welcome Guest Preacher Rev. Darryl Dayson
Dilworth UMC and the Amplify Team would like to welcome our guest preacher Rev. Darryl Dayson. Rev. Dayson will deliver the sermon this Sunday during our worship service as part of a series of guest preachers hosted by our Amplify Team ministry. Darryl is the senior pastor at Simpson Gillespie UMC in Charlotte and is an ordained elder in our conference.

This week’s scripture lesson is Psalm 78.
Welcome Aisha!
The SPRC is excited to announce that Dilworth UMC has hired Aisha Newton as our new office and communications manager. Aisha holds a BS from NC A&T and an MS in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. The joy of her life is her 8-year-old son, Kellen. Aisha began work Monday, October 26th so that Carol Biddy could share her knowledge with her.  We look forward to many years of great ministry together. If you get a chance, pop into the office lobby to welcome Aisha to the Dilworth family (wearing a mask and socially distanced of course!).

Want To Give Your Gifts To Worship?
We currently need volunteers to help with the different tech/media needs of virtual worship. If you or someone you know might be interested in helping with the sound system and Livestream recording on Sunday mornings please reach out to Pastor Michelle or Ashton Sherrin. You do not have to be a tech expert to help your church in this way. Our sound system professional will help train and instruct anyone interested and you will work with a team of three to four other volunteers so no experience necessary. Social safety protocols will be observed. Both YOUTH and Adults are invited and encouraged to lend a hand. Your help will be much appreciated.
