September Staff Spotlight - Mr. Dennison
by: Elizabeth Sutherland
For this new school year, PJSHS is excited to welcome new assistant principal, Kyle Dennison, to the administration! He is enthusiastic to be starting this school year with us, helping out alongside Mr. Thole.

Mr. Dennison grew up in Kewanee, IL, not too far from Princeville. For college, he attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA and studied elementary education. Mr. Dennison was also a sports star, playing basketball for St. Ambrose in addition to his studies! From an education standpoint, he shared that the reason that drew him to be an educator was his passion for helping students...
Welcome Back PGS (Staff Spotlight)
by: Alyssa Kieser
Welcome back everyone to The Prince!! We are excited to be back for the 2022-2023 school year. This year we have several new teachers at Princeville Grade School, including Mrs Kacey Bohanan (Kindergarten), Miss Samanatha Spears (1st grade), and Mrs. Kahlia Metz (2nd grade). Let's get to know them a little bit.

Ms. Kacey Bohanan is Princeville’s new Kindergarten teacher. She grew up in Hanna City and then moved to Indiana for part of her middle school and high school career. She wanted to be a teacher because she helped kids in elementary school in her spare time, and ended up becoming a one-on-one teacher's aide to a little boy in Pre-K...

New Coaches of PHS Sports
by: Claire Dearing
High School sports roll back around for the new school year and we have some new faces in Princeville High School sports. I will be introducing you to three new coaches in volleyball and football.

PHS sports has new coaching staff that have joined us this year. Starting off with volleyball they have a new fresh/soph coach, Kati Eddlemon. Once a volleyball player herself, Kati played for 4 years at Peoria Notre Dame High School and planned to play at Illinois Central College but retired due to an injury. From Coach Kati herself, “Since starting out here at Princeville High School, this season has gone very well and the support from family, friends, and fellow students and student athletes really help. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know my players and seeing them progress on and off the court.”
