In these uncertain times, everybody has been living with increased anxiety. Both children, teens and adults with ADHD naturally wrestle with handling uncertainty because of their executive functioning challenges such as working memory, emotional control and time management. In this webinar, Dr. Sharon Saline shows you how to worry less, stop expecting the worst and bounce back from disappointment. You'll learn how to create effective responses to 'what-ifs' and develop effective coping resources. Where anxiety shuts you down, see how curiosity can open you to possibilities and foster resilience.
Sharon Saline, Psy.D., clincial psychologist and author specializes in working with kids, young adults, and families living with ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health issues. Her unique perspective - as a sibling in an ADHD home, combined with decades of experience as a clinical psychologist and educator/clinician consultant - assists her in guiding families and adults towards effective communication and closer connections. She lectures and facilitates workshops internationally on topics such as understanding ADHD, executive functions, anxiety, different kinds of learners, and the teen brain. Dr. Saline is a regular columnist for ADDitudemag.com and Psychologytoday.com, and part-time lecturer in Continuing Education Program at the Smith School for Social Work. She appears monthly on WWLP's Mass Mutual Appeal show as their resident child and family psychologist. A magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, she received her doctorate in psychology from California's School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University.
