Tour the Hills Cycling Event

Tour the Hills Celebrates 7 Years of Community, Challenge, and Charity

The 'Tour the Hills' cycling event in support of Cancer Assistance Halton Hills is back for its 7th year on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and the ride continues to grow — thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and community. What started as a small local event has become a must-do for cycling enthusiasts across the region.

Designed to celebrate community, fitness, and the great outdoors, the event features multiple route options, well-supported rest stops, and a welcoming atmosphere for both experienced cyclists and leisure cyclists. Check out our Community Leisure Ride!

Riders and volunteers can amplify their impact by creating a Personal Pledge Page to raise funds for Cancer Assistance Halton Hills. Each dollar raised directly supports our programs and earns raffle entries for exciting prizes. If you are unable to attend Tour the Hills this year, you can still contribute by donating to a rider’s fundraising page. Every donation made directly supports the programs and services Cancer Assistance provides to individuals and families affected by cancer, in our community.

Registration is open for both riders and volunteers, and all are welcome to join the experience. Come ride, cheer, or lend a hand and help make this year the best!

Tour the Hills Colours Will Illuminate the CN Tower September 20

We are excited to share that on September 20, the CN Tower will glow in blue, red, and white to support our Tour the Hills cycling fundraiser!

Please note, the lighting begins at sunset, but it won’t be fully visible until about 30 minutes later, once the sky darkens enough. As part of its nightly tradition, the CN Tower will also feature a 5-minute light show at the top of every hour, followed by another on the half hour throughout the evening.

If you’re unable to see the lighting in person, you can Watch It Live on their webcam.

Stay tuned and join us in celebrating this vibrant show of support for Tour the Hills!

Head for the Hills - Saturday, September 13, 2025

The Head for the Hills Food and Craft Beverage Festival is back for its 10th year on Saturday, September 13, 2025, and Cancer Assistance Halton Hills is excited to once again be part of this vibrant community event. We’re currently looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to help us throughout the weekend, and we invite you to join us for a rewarding and fun experience.

Georgetown Fall Fair - September 5th-7th, 2025

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help at the 2025 Georgetown Fall Fair from September 5th to 7th! Cancer Assistance Halton Hills and the Knights of Columbus will be managing entrances, parking, and interactive activities — and we need your help to make it all happen.

Volunteers receive free admission to the fair on the day of their shift, and high school students can earn 5 community service hours for each 3.5-hour shift, including orientation. It’s a fun and rewarding way to get involved, meet new people, and support two great local organizations.

Thank You GDHS Geezers!

Cancer Assistance Halton Hills extends heartfelt thanks to the GDHS Geezers for their generous $2,700 donation from their annual golf tournament, and to key sponsor Jones Funeral Home for their support.
