Join us this Sunday, February 23rd, for Frolic Family Playgroup.

Frolic Family is a faith-based playgroup for children aged 0 – 3 along with their families. This month’s Frolic will look a bit different this month, we invite families to enjoy their Fat Sunday breakfast with one another in the Fellowship Hall and then come into classroom 5 for a Bible story and a chance to play together. Frolic Family Playgroup is a program for parents/guardians to support their young children as they take their first steps in faith. Contact Susie (sselle@christ-the-king.org) with questions.

REMINDER:
NO Christian Ed or Kingdom Kids Choir Rehearsal Monday, February 24th.
Open Prayer Space

Lent is a time God calls us to examine our lives. Our theme will be the Wilderness. Will we go? What will we find there? The church sanctuary will be available between 6:30am and 8:00am Wednesday mornings beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 26. This will be a time for individual quiet reflection and contemplation. We are calling this, “Open Space.” Devotionals and bibles will be available. Enter in and see how God is present!
First Communion:

Our 4th graders will begin preparing for First Communion on March 2nd. If you have a 4th grader or older, that needs communion instruction, please contact Susie (sselle@christ-the-king.org) and she will fill you in on the details.

Fat Sunday Services
Join us on Fat Sunday and be blessed by the musical styling of the Dixieland band at both the 8:30am & 10:15am services.

Lenten Services Loose Offering

Lenten services loose offering will be going towards Lutheran World Relief. Through our congregations donation, we are assembling and shipping personal care kits and reaching out to our neighbors in the most fragile corners of the world and who are in the most challenging circumstances. With our donations, we can reach the young mother, living in a refugee camp in Mali, who simply needs to clean her baby’s face or the elderly woman in Syria who wants to regain some dignity in attending to hygiene even though war has robbed her of everything. With your help, we can reach the father in Haiti who so desperately wants to begin anew following a disaster, starting with the simple act of bathing.

Thank you from Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity!

You deserve thanks for helping over 265 families, and handing sixteen keys over to new home owners. A dozen other homes were repaired , and hundreds received financial education. Our total CtK giving for 2019 was $4,800. Thank you CtK for all of your continued generous giving.

Thank you from Appleton Area School District!

Through your generous donations, four families (about 12 children) were able to celebrate Christmas this year with toys, clothing and food. Helping these adopt-a-families is just another example of the generosity at CtK! Thank you CtK for all you do!
