The Region 3 ESC is excited for the 2022-23 school year. At the center of everything we do is quality service to our regional schools. Our vision is for ESC3 to be the preferred and most trusted provider for products and services that guarantee viable solutions. We are committed to improving our services and supporting your needs.

Provide Excellence. Experience Success.

We at Region 3 have one aim…excellence. We strive to continue to improve and provide service to help make your work more impactful.

Our team has been working for several weeks on redesigning our new website, and we are excited to share the new site with you next Monday.

The redesign aims to help you navigate and locate the content you need and enhance your experience while saving you time. We may have a new look, but the website address is still the same.

We hope to continue to be your most trusted provider as we partner to lead and serve our communities.

Thank you for all you do,

Morris Lyon

Early Childhood Intervention

Services for Babies & Families

Region 3 ESC ECI program has been serving babies and families since 1981. We have grown to over 1100 families served per month across 13 counties and continue to have a robust Child Find program to ensure children birth to age 3 receive needed services.

Our state Child Outcome and Family Survey results demonstrate the efficacy of our program. Many of these children start with a developmental delay and meet developmental proficiency before they turn age 3 due to our intervention. For those who do not meet developmental proficiency, our program works to help the family transition to other services after age 3. We utilize a coaching and modeling approach with our families to emphasize parental involvement.

While our program has added many staff in the past ten years, we have many others with tenure in the early intervention field including many over 20 years of doing this work. Our program employs therapists (Physical, Speech, Occupational, Nutrition, and Counselors), Case Managers, and Early Intervention Specialists who are licensed or certified in their field. Our most recent project for the betterment of our program is 25% of our staff are obtaining internationally recognized Infant Family Specialist endorsements through First 3 Years.

We have a wide array of services available to your babies including the Pathways Early Autism Intervention Program, Infant Massage, group classes (Little Learners, Music Makers, Baby Yoga, Little Movers, etc.) and we have SNAP ED events and educational sharing about the importance of adequate nutrition and physical activity during these very important years in development.

Our program is a leader in the state of Texas in early childhood intervention as we deliver consistent excellence in our services with proven results. We are taking care of our babies and families so they are better equipped when they enter your school.

YouTube is a great resource for teachers, but the ads and/or autoplay can be tricky in the classroom. Luckily, there is a way to share and view YouTube videos full screen WITHOUT ads or auto-play!
