Worship in the Sanctuary – What to Expect
We are excited to add a 9:00 Sunday morning onsite service to our worship opportunities! So we can better prepare a safer experience for all, please register in advance. You may also simply check in at the door without preregistering.

We will continue prioritizing the wellbeing of our community, so we will continue gathering online for worship Sundays at 10:30 and Wednesdays for Worship in the Garden at 6:00. You are welcome to join us for all of them!

For the safety of all, here is some of what you can expect for onsite worship in the sanctuary:

  • We will wear masks while inside. Masks are provided if you forget yours.
  • We will maintain physical distancing. If you sit in a pew with a green sheet of paper please sit towards the inside isle. If you sit in a pew with no paper please sit towards the outside isle.
  • We will wash our hands. Hand sanitizer is provided.
  • We will stay home if we are sick.
  • If you would like to visit with one another the garden is a lovely place to do so.
  • Offering plates are placed at the sanctuary door.

Links for all online worship services, meetings, and classes are available in the eNews, the church website, and the calendar.

If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Take Action Today: Support Bipartisan Legislation to Restore Trade Relations with Cuba
As the humanitarian situation in Cuba worsens, we are called as Christians to seek right relationship and reconciliation with our neighbors by amplifying the voices of our Christian partners in Cuba calling for an end to the blockade. The United States should re-engage with Cuba, a neighbor only 90 miles off our shores, rather than continue to pursue failed strategies that inflict harm on Cubans and do not further the goals of human rights, justice, and freedom. Disagreements are better addressed through dialogue rather than isolation. Opening diplomatic channels between the US and Cuba will protect religious freedom and human rights and ending the embargo would represent real progress toward reconciliation.

225th General Assembly (2022)
225th General Assembly (2022) begins June 18 and runs through July 9, 2022. The format will be a hybrid of in-person and online committee sessions taking place in Louisville.

What is the General Assembly and What Does it Do?
The General Assembly consists of commissioners elected by presbyteries. Half of the commissioners will be ruling elders, half will be teaching elders. Few will ever have been commissioners to the General Assembly before, but most will have served in one of the other governing bodies of our church: the session, which provides care and oversight of a local congregation; the presbytery, which provides care and oversight of a group of congregations; or the synod which provides care and oversight of several presbyteries. Read more here

"Presbyterian Governance Comes to Life"
Music teaches the theology of the Church — not simply through the words we sing, but by connecting us to ourselves and one another.
The Presbyterian Giving Catalog celebrates all the ways we come together, especially in mission and, this summer, with music.
Music has been sorely missed by so many during the pandemic, with many church choirs quieted and Sunday hymns sung in homes rather than in sanctuaries.
Inspired by musicians throughout the Church, we want to thank you with a Summer of Song! We hope you’ll join us on June 21 at 7:00 p.m. EST for our first performance by Elizabeth Stockton Perkins. In this concert, Elizabeth — a rising sophomore at Vassar College and a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Wooster, Ohio — will lift her voice in song with accompaniment by Cameron Edmiston.
This link grants you access to the premiere on June 21. Can’t make it at that time or want to include your Church or family? This online concert will be available all summer long! Stay tuned for updates on other series concerts in July and August.

Share your work with us! We would love to see and display your creativity and talent. Send us your colored pictures (scan, email, regular mail) and we will share them on Sunday mornings and maybe also on our Facebook page.
Tuesday Night Bible Study
All are welcome to join us for our Tuesday Night Bible Study each Tuesday at 6:30pm. Currently we are looking at the early church as they learned how to live out the Great Commandment (Mark 12:28-34). We are guided by an excellent book by Diana Butler Bass titled "A People's History of Christianity." Plan on joining us! The meeting link is listed below.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought overwhelming grief to many families. At FEMA, our mission is to help people before, during and after disasters. We are dedicated to helping ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the virus.
