Visitors to the gallery this month can see our 2026 Fiber Art Exhibit. The exhibit explores how regional artists exploit the creative potential of textiles to create new, exciting and meaningful works. Thank you to Karen Bergeron and Sharon Lee for judging the exhibit. AMERICA 250: a celebration of our nation!

New Window Mural for 53 Colony Street!

RENOVATIONS UPDATE

Day by day, our third floor is getting closer to being finished! The Air Conditioning and HVAC are in the final stages, the third floor has been inspected and approved, and sheet rock is in place. As of Tuesday, painting is almost complete and the beautiful hardwood floors should be finished in a week or two. After working towards this goal since 2020, we literally can’t wait to start using this additional space!

ELEANOR BENDER

October 11, 1928  -  April 19, 2026

We’re deeply saddened to share that our fellow artist and dear friend, Ellie Bender, passed away on April 19th. Ellie was an extraordinarily talented portrait artist and professional illustrator, as well as a longtime member of G53. Her creativity, warmth, and unique spirit touched so many in our community. If you would like to honor Ellie's memory, her family has set up a memorial fund.
