This past month has been a great one for us. We have had various opportunities such as attending virtual events with Senior's Whole Health, tabling events with Health first, attending virtual and in-person job fairs such as job fairs with College of Mount Saint Vincent and SUNY Downstate Medical Center as well as growing our team.
Our collaboration with Cyrpress Hill's youth has been a great experience for us, where we have gotten the opportunity to teach, learn from and guide our interns. One of our interns, Elianni shares about her experience: " Working for Helping U Homecare has profoundly changed me for the better. I am more motivated to be myself and pursue the things I desire. The staff has been so welcoming and helpful, they’ve always shown me kindness. In addition, being able to touch so many different grounds under one agency has really shown me how flexible of a career home care is. Flexible in the sense that you are able to be an administrative assistant one moment, and an HR representative the next. From reception to the big office, a taste of each job has enlightened admiration for the field. I have grown very confident, enough to take on any tasks and risks. Asking questions and learning about what everyone does. It has been amazing, I do wish to continue to flourish here".
We are very grateful for the opportunity to guide, mentor and grow along side our youth.
We look forward to more collaborations and partnerships with organizations, universities and schools.

PRESSURE INJURY SKILLS FAIR AT SUNY DOWNSTATE MEDICAL CENTER |
This month, Jackee, our Brooklyn office Regional Director, Elianni and Tiasha our Brooklyn Office Interns and Saskia, our Account Manager, had the opportunity to attend SUNY Downstate Medical Hospital's Pressure Injury Skills fair.
We provided food for those attending the fair and it was an honor for us to get to take part. It was a beautiful opportunity for us to give back to our health care providers and heroes for all they have done and continue to do. A way for us to show our appreciation and gratitude.
As per Eliana's experience: "My experience at SUNY Downstate Medical Hospital as a healthcare worker on March 16th 2021 was one I could never forget. For one, hospitals bring me an odd sense of comfortability, I felt as if I was welcomed, and I was extremely humbled. Serving the RN, the surgeons, any member of that staff from the hospital reminded me of how much serving people, and helping them will always be my passion. Their smiles and gratitude were fulfilling. I am utterly thankful myself, for the experience and wish to step many more times as a healthcare worker in the field at that hospital."
