New and Renewed National Parks in Israel


Sussita (Hippos) National Park

A district capital in the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods.

Sussita National Park overlooks the Sea of Galilee and combines archaeology, heritage, nature, and scenery.

Tel Lachish National Park

Tel Lachish is the site of the biblical city of Lachish, located in southern Israel. Extensive remains were unearthed on site that correspond to the biblical descriptions.

A new visitor center will soon open at the site.

Migdal Tsedek National Park

Migdal Tsedek National Park is an essential green lung in central Israel, near Rosh Haayin. The park features abundant trails for the family to enjoy in the heart of nature, with an ancient fortress and the unique story of the modern quarry industry and the heritage of Jewish stonecutters.

Tel Dor National Park

One of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Israel with a winning combination of breathtaking scenery, a variety of natural treasures and rich history. Tel Dor is situated on a kurkar ridge on the southern Carmel coast, located about 12 km from north of Caesarea. 

En Hanya

After careful restoration, En Hanya, which is located in the outskirts of Jerusalem, is now open to the public- a charming spot that integrates a picturesque spring, an archaeological site, and a traditional farming cultural landscape, with trails the whole family will enjoy.

Airline News


El Al, Israel’s flag carrier, announced that it would commence nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport for a limited time from mid-September through mid-October (Jewish High Holidays). The intention is to start year-round service from the South Florida airport sometime in Spring 2024.

El Al will also add a sixth weekly flight to its existing route between Miami International Airport and Tel Aviv. This is as close as the carrier gets to offering daily service since it does not operate on the Jewish Sabbath.

In addition, Delta switches from three weekly flights to a daily flight on the Atlanta Tel Aviv Route, starting April 16, 2023.

Hotel News


Tel Aviv’s Elkonin Hotel reopens after 80 years, now offering a luxuriously modern elegant eclectic design, while keeping the original spirit of the Tel Aviv's first ever built hotel in 1913. Located in the fashionable district of Neve Tzedek, in the heart of Tel Aviv. The hotel has 44 rooms and will feature a signature restaurant by Robuchon, a Clarins SPA, and a Rooftop swimming pool and bar.

"Leshem hotels" are rebranding to Roxon Hotels. Roxon is a new Trademark by Wyndham, an international hotel chain with over 9,000 hotels in about 80 countries around the world. Current Roxon hotels are: Ramada Olivie Nazareth, Roxon Urban - Ramat Gan, Roxon Sea Sand - Bat Yam. Expected hotels in 2023: Roxon Heights - Metula, Roxon Desert - Arad, Roxon Red Sea - Eilat.

Noga by Isrotel Collection - The Renewed Ganim Hotel, set on the shores of the Dead Sea, in Ein Bokek's tourist area, a 2-minute walk from the beach.

Culinary news


Michelin Guide may be coming to the Israeli restaurant scene. The Israeli Tourism Ministry gave the green light to advance in the direction of signing an agreement with the world-famous restaurant guide and is set to work on the deal with the Tel Aviv Municipality.

Amiel celebrated Purim in the office! Purim is a Jewish holiday commemorating the saving of the Jewish people. Purim is a festive day, and it is common to dress up in costumes and to give friends Mishloach Manot- a food gift, which is supposed to unlock the power of happiness and joy in our life.
