Question & Mission of the Week:  Question: How do you come to recognize who Jesus is? How does the knowledge shape your life? Mission: Christian witness is vital to growth in faith. When you do good works, or make tough decisions, be clear with people how your faith motivates you. And when blessings come your way, don’t call it luck. Give the glory to God.

The weekend of February 9th we will kick off our Raise the Roof Capital Campaign to raise money to replace our church roof. We are replacing our roof with a metal roof which will meet or exceed all State and Federal requirements for wind resistance and last at least 50 years. Our goal is to raise $600,000 and we are asking parishioners to make a pledge they can pay as a one time gift or over a period of 3 years. Envelopes are available in the pews and church vestibule racks and in addition, we offer online e-giving, which can be accessed through our website: www.stjeromeonline.org. We appreciate your financial support.

St. Jerome Parish Office will be closed Monday, January 20th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day. We will reopen on Tuesday at 9:30am.

Preschool Open House: St. Jerome Early Childhood Center will join Catholic schools across our nation in celebrating Catholic Schools’ Week, January 26 - 31. Join us for our Annual Open House on Sunday, January 26th from 10:00 am -12:30 pm. All families and parishioners are invited to visit our center, tour our facilities, meet our teaching staff, shop our Book Fair and enjoy our children’s art display in the ECC hallway. Registration applications for the 2020-21 school year are available for families interested in enrolling their two, three, or four year old children. Registration for new families begins January 30th. St. Jerome ECC is nationally accredited, a Gold Seal School, and a VPK Provider for four year olds. Half day and/or full day options are available. St. Jerome Catholic Church invites you! Friday, January 24th at 7:30 pm in the church!  Join us for an evening of inspirational heart songs, timeless classics and some of Erica ’ s original Christian compositions. Featuring Stan Collins on the Steinway piano.

The Homeless Ministry … Thanks to the generosity of St. Jerome parishioners the Homeless Ministry is pleased to be able to feed approximately 200 dinners to residents at Pinellas Hope. Each dinner includes a healthy variety of main courses, such as beef stew or chicken cacciatore. In addition, vegetables, stuffing, deviled eggs, bread and pastries are provided. PB & J sandwiches and fruit are also distributed for a future need. Volunteers prepare at the Parish Center during the day each Monday and serve at Pinellas Hope for 7 pm dinner.
