Pumpkin Palooza

Mark your calendars for our Second Annual Pumpkin Palooza on October 11! Pumpkins will arrive for unloading on Friday, October 10 in the parking lot. We will meet at 6 pm in the parking lot!

Sunday October 5

Reminder that this week is a combined service at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary. There will be NO Sunday School this week!

Chili Cook-Off

Everyone is invited to enter a pot of chili for our Annual Pumpkin Palooza Chili Cook-Off! Prizes will be awarded, along with a year's worth of bragging rights! Plus, all our entries will be served to our attendees following judging.

Winners will be chosen in the following categories:

Best Spicy

Best Vegetarian

What We're Teaching

STICK TOGETHER: A 4-Week Series from The Old & New Testaments on Friendship

SERIES OVERVIEW: Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships. In this 4-week series from the Old and New Testaments, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends. We'll see how every friend will influence you, how wise friends will help guide you, that good friends are worth fighting for, and that you'll always have a friend in Jesus.

New Parent Study!

Starting in October, we’ll be launching a monthly Parent Study on the book Growing With: Every Parent's Guide to Helping Teenagers and Young Adults Thrive in Their Faith, Family, and Future. For any parent who longs for their kids to keep their roots even as they spread their wings, Growing With offers practical help and hope for the days--and years--ahead. Join us we dive through this "Growing" journey together. An 8-week (1x per month) guide for parents cultivating relationships with their teenagers and young adults where they are today—in real time. Times for this will be once a month beginning in October and will be determined collectively as a group.
