The SVDP Orlando Thrift Store in Apopka was able to gift the generous donations of tents and sleeping bags to our friends in need at the Apopka Hope Center. Pictured: Kelly and Jon were happy to receive the collection to distribute.

St. Vincent de Paul Conference at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island.

This month SVDP Orlando Stores Staff joined the SVDP Conference at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island to help distribute food to our neighbors in need.

The turnout was great and they were able to serve families in 99 cars during this drive-thru event. The Vincentian Volunteers made it look easy, but I appreciate all the work behind the scenes to make it all happen.

My favorite thing of the day was Sarah, a Vincentians Volunteer, greeting the neighbors as they pulled up. Sarah would say: "HELLO, my Blessing to everyone."

Hearing this made me think about how it is a blessing for those we serve and for us.
