BUSINESS OF THE MONTH:

At SLV Area Extension, our core belief is that every individual will have their best possible life if they will engage in life-long learning. Everything we do is designed to foster healthy youth and families, prosperous farms, ranches, and businesses, and strong, resilient, proud communities.

CSU Extension is an off-campus leg of the university that provides informal community education to residents of all ages, from all walks of life, where they live, work, and play. 

Some of our community education programs include the Southern Rocky Mountain Ag Conference, Celebrating Aging Conference, a multitude of 4-H Youth Development activities, POP (Power of Possible) livestock exhibition for people with disabilities, Strengthening Families/Familias Fuertes family communication and prevention training, Serve Safe for restaurant and commercial kitchen operators, Cottage Foods Training, Ag Fest for fifth graders, Ag Business workshops, In-school and after-school STEM and leadership training, soil health and grazing management workshops, and many, many more.
