Welcoming Fort Wayne Spotlight:

Dreamers Staffing Connects Burmese Community to Jobs, Resources

Dreamers Staffing LLC, a local Burmese-owned staffing agency, has a big heart for building community. In April, over 200 people, many of them Burmese speakers, attended their Community Job Fair at The Impact Center. Attendees talked with potential employers, filled out job applications, and learned about community resources.

In addition to job fairs, Might Might shares resources for Burmese speakers through Facebook Live videos, ranging from interview tips to leads on potential jobs. "From a refugee camp with no voice to a business owner with purpose, I organize job fairs to give hope, guidance, and opportunity to those who feel unseen, because I was once in their shoes," said Might MIght.

After the success of the April event, a second Community Job Fair and Networking Event is planned for on Saturday, August 9 at 12pm at The Impact Center (3420 E Paulding Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816). While the Burmese community is a target audience, the event is open to everyone.

Visit Dreamers Staffing on Facebook to learn more about the job fair and other activities.

We partner with immigrant and refugee families and the community to promote safety, encourage personal growth, and foster a spirit of belonging.
